Not only that, it scans 11" by 17" paper and prints that large, too. ![]() Anyone know any tricks for fixing this? This printer' is only a few years old and has worked fine up until now. ![]() So, i came here, having usually gotten good advice from this forum before. ![]() I was just about to take it to Best Buy for repair when i decided to phone them to make sure they did that. I even wiped off the cartridge contacts and cleaned the nozzles with alcohol on a Q-tip. Using HP Print Doctor, virtual troubleshooting assistant, and god knows what else. Downloaded updates, new software, new firmware, old software and installing them. When i tried to print again i got an error message about the cartridges being "incompatible" or "misaligned." So i went through all the usual gyrations and dance steps to make them happy: Taking out the cartridges and putting them back in, powering down, unplugging, then powering up. I bought all four new HP cartridges from Office Depot and installed them. When it stopped working back then i assumed it was probably because of empty ink cartridges, like every other time it's done this. ![]() Within the last two weeks my large format HP 7612 decided it won't print for me anymore.
